Happy 2017! For our first post of the year, I bring you this black and white cake that was made for a birthday but would be perfect for any occasion. Even the bow is edible! 

Puerto Rican Pride Cake

Puerto Rico known as The Island of Enchantment "La Isla del Encanto" I truly enjoyed making this cake representing my island and all the things that is known for: The coqui, dominos, the garitas, güiro and maracas. All the figures were handmade in gum paste.

Baby Carriage Cake

This cake is perfect for a baby shower, small but very detailed from top to bottom, finished off with a baby carriage on top made of fondant (gum paste).

Beautiful White Wedding Cake

This beautiful white wedding cake  was decorated in fondant and took a while to decorate, as each tier has delicate sugar pearls all around it that were placed one by one. The flowers were also hand made in sugar (gum paste).
